Nice cars, all i can suggest as a small investment that would really improve the look is a set of chrome amber bulbs for them new clear tail lights. you can get a set for 10 bucks if not less off ebay. (if you do get some make sure you get the right bulb pin design)

Gets down to what your driving style / usage is, EFI is doable, reliable, maybe you want aftermarket programmable, Carbs for bling and noise , whats the fueling budget ? etc it comes down to your preference.

Myself I would go kjet, with a 1.8 injection hydro head on a 2E shortblock for economical bang for your buck, good exhaust, mild cam and then it still looks stock FI set up. Despite what the knockers say, k jet is super reliable if set and maintained correctly.

Where you doing the panel / paint ?? are they going to treat the inner sills, box sections etc ?? even tho its not the UK they still rot away here..
    Lots of MK 1 Scirocco's...

If it aint a MK 1 then it must be a donor car ??

    Cheers,

    Hi Grant
Havnt thought that far away with the paint job yet im still umming and errring on what to do with this motor i have already brought, its not going to be a daily just for the sunday cruiser so not to worried about speed especially with my demerits
Is it easy enough to drop this straight in with the ecu and harness etc?or is it much more involved?
    Thanks for your help
